Three building blocks that make up the Web of Life and the often unseen and unnoticed interconnections between all things, both animate and inanimate is the thread that weaves throughout my work.
The wonderful celadon glazes of the Song Dynasty are a fruitful inspiration, jadelike, soft ,sensual and buttery,for me they are evocative of everything subtle and beautiful in Chinese art. The environment and the human hands that nurture and sometimes destroy are themes that continually recur within my work. We only have one Earth. As current caretakers it is up to us to ensure the health and safety of our environment for future generations of both man and nature.
